The Wild Forest ecosystem is about to evolve. Our new roadmap outlines major updates that will reshape the game and bring new gaming features. While we remain adaptable in this fast-paced Web3 space, we want to give you a glimpse of what’s coming as we build toward a brighter & Wilder future.
OCTOBER: Foundation 🍁
🛡 Fair Play Vision Update:
We’re introducing Rating Decay and Unit Lock Mechanics to ensure fair competition across the board. These mechanics will prevent abuse while protecting genuine players, with continuous improvements as we go.
We’ll keep auditing every season and adapt based on data, stats and community’s feedback.
🔥 Castle Campfire:
Soon, Lord holders will enjoy the benefits of the Campfire, which will reward daily in-game resources based on the Castle’s rank. It’s a new, consistent way to obtain free resources! Even non Lord holders will be concerned!
This will be the final Castles feature to be released.
🥩 New Staking System for Lords:
A brand-new Staking System is on its way! We just implemented the auto-transfer for Lord stakers, to the new staking system! All current Lord stakers have been automatically transferred to the new contract, where you can stake/unstake anytime, but note that unstaking will reset your staking streak. Staked Lords will now continue to build streak bonuses.
The longer you stake, the bigger your rewards. Loyalty will be rewarded.

NOVEMBER: Expansion 🍂
💸 WF Withdrawals:
One of the most highly anticipated updates: Off-chain to $WF withdrawals are coming! This step will allow players to transfer their in-game earnings, marking a significant moment in Wild Forest's evolution.
We are approaching a historical moment for our game and community.
🏆 Revised Leaderboard:
We’re also reworking the Leaderboard to enhance competition across all leagues. Whether you're climbing the ranks or just starting, these changes will level the playing field and intensify the thrill of the game.
Whether you're a pro-player or a fresh recruit, we're committed to enhancing your experience, Warrior!
🆙 Unit Rank and Level Extensions:
We want you to take your Units to new heights with extended ranks and levels, adding more depth to your strategy and making your army even more Wild.
In other words, you’ll be able to upgrade your Units even further with a new rank and new levels!
🃏 Unit Minting Fee:
Unit minting & supply are key points for the game and its economy. We’ll introduce a minting fee system alongside new free mint rules, ensuring a balanced and sustainable ecosystem.
We’ll constantly monitor and adapt our rules on that.
🗺️ Expeditions:
Where players send Units on missions to gather valuable resources in return. These Expeditions will add a fresh layer of excitement to gameplay, where risk meets reward!
Every unit, regardless of rarity, should play a meaningful role!
DECEMBER: Unlocking New Potential ❄️
🏰 Castle Rent:
The ability to lease Castles is coming! Soon, you’ll be able to rent out your Castles and earn $WF in return, unlocking a new economic layer within the game.

🎮 Meta Secret Gameplay:
We’re working on something special, a secret gameplay feature that will shake up the Wild Forest meta for all players!

🎲 Perk Re-Roll:
The Perk Re-Roll feature is on its way, allowing players to re-roll perks for their Units, creating even more tactical options and adding flexibility to your strategy.
Building your perfect Unit will soon be easier, with a few conditions!

While this roadmap focuses on key updates for the end of 2024, rest assured that 2025 holds even more developments. This year, we’re laying the groundwork for exponential growth within the Wild Forest ecosystem, with future updates like Guild Wars, Lands Gameplay, new game modes, Spells, and more already in the works.
The flexibility of Web3 allows us to stay agile, ensuring that while this roadmap outlines our current path, we’ll adapt as needed to keep Wild Forest a thriving and dynamic environment.
